And it's all how she built her business and grew it in a very ethical way alongside her fellow employees,

fashion construction work, which is not often a thing you can do in Los Angeles.

I usually read the first couple of pages, and the first first couple pages of the book are extremely heartbreaking.

And it's all about living in Los Angeles and, you know, working and having a job and kind of,

I've had so many friends have to leave the city because of, you know, it's just the rents are so high here.

And especially once you get to my age, you can't do the gig jobs anymore.

It's very difficult to do catering, waitering, all that sort of stuff.

So so many friends have had to leave town.

So it's very interesting in that part of what it's like to live in a giant city

and still be extremely generous with your employees and learn.

Learn how to operate a fair and equitable business that has all boats rise, which I don't know if I've done, but that's my dream. That's my dream.

So it's very funny and also very educational and inspired me a ton. So it's very educational. Of course, the treat from comedian Maria Bamford, whose style has made her someone other comics seek out, is the 2024 book, I Survive Capitalism, and all I got is this lousy t-shirt. Everything I wish I never had to learn about money.
