Life is a journey, and God has provided songs to help us along the way.

It doesn't matter where I travel, there is something special about coming back into the mountains. That's where I was

raised and just recently I was driving back into the hills of West Virginia. And what a beautiful

sight it is. There is something special about the hills. When you come to Psalm 121, we find that

very truth given in the second of the Song of Degrees.

Now remember, these are the Traveler Psalms.

We began our study in Psalm 120, and we learned something there about laying aside the things that are going to hinder you in your trip and to keep you from moving

forward. We all have our hard places in life, but some things you just have to lay aside.

And when you come to Psalm 121, we learn something about the rest that only God can give along the

journey. Let's read it together. There are eight verses.

The Bible says, I will lift up mine eyes under the hills.

From whence cometh my help.

My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.

He will not suffer thy foot to be moved.

He that keepeth thee will not slumber.
