And today we have a chat all about the traders going into the season finale and the

reunion this coming Thursday on Peacock.

Joining me to break down the last episode, but also just the show in a sort of bigger picture

sense and what to

expect from the finale in the reunion is Mike Bloom. Mike writes for parade. He's been doing a lot

of exit interviews with a lot of people from the traders this season. And he also contributes to Rob

as a podcast, which is Rob Sester Nino, who was on the season of the traders. He's from Survivor

and he's also on Gavin with Gibb earlier this season. Mike is on that podcast a lot to talk about competition shows.

And Mike and I had never chatted before. We were just sort of like Twitter friends, but he is

sort of one of the more prominent voices in sort of talking about this show in the media and

online. And I have been wanting to have it on for a while. So it was great to have him and he definitely delivered. I mean, he knows this stuff like the back of his hand. He really has like gamed this out. And like towards the end of the episode, it almost, I almost want to say spoiler alert because he kind of just like broke down exactly what he thinks is going to happen in the finale. He doesn't actually know, but he broke down what he kind of thinks and it sounded so plausible and I was like, oh my God, this is like exactly it was probably going to happen. But Mike's brain just really knows this stuff and it was fascinating to get to talk to talk to him. And I think you'll really enjoy this chat.

Again, I think it's the perfect sort of appetizer going into Thursday night.

I'm recording this from snowy New York. We're experiencing what feels like our second or third blizzard of 2026 winter.

I'm over it. It's pretty the first time it happens.

You know, I walked to the gym earlier today and people were building all these snowmen in

the park, which was cute and adorable, but it's not going to be cute tomorrow when everybody

has to keep their boots on and walk on the ice and just put up with the snow for however long

it takes until it melts again. It had literally just melted two days ago. Sorry, I didn't used

to be such a grinch about the snow, but it is just not, it is not fun to live in New York and have
