I'm your host, Gibson-Johns, and today on the show we have an interview with Tannen from the Valley Persian style.

Tannin is one of the new people on the show.

And I feel like she is one of the cast members to me who has stuck out the most so far in this first season, which actually ends this coming Thursday. The finale is airing on Bravo at 9 p.m. I can't believe it's already over. But I guess they did start the season with two episodes airing on the first day. And Bravo shows in their first season tend to be shorter, but it just feels like it went by so quickly. But Tannen, yeah, to me, I feel like she was maybe like a slower burn on this season, but it's sort of culminating in her big drama with Sky. It's a fairly layered feud they're having. I think it's actually a fallout. They're not friends anymore. So we talked a lot about that in her interview, and then I got her thoughts on a couple of the other big plot points in the season.

Not that much time with her, but enough to sort of get a temperature check and connect with her,

which I really appreciate it.

And I know I haven't been covering the Valley of Person style that in-depthly on the podcast this season.

It's just simply a matter of it's just being such a busy time on Bravo or or peacock i mean the traders takes up so much oxygen in the room um and i love covering that show and people seem to love

me covering it so that has definitely taken some of my focus and there's you know multiple housewives

airing their summer house southern charm it's a lot so i wish that i could have spent more time talking

about persian style during its first season but um I'm hoping it gets a second season. I mean, I feel like they're not going to bring back Shaws of Sunset for this quasi reboot of it just for it to be one go-round. And I feel like the group that they found as part of this show was really promising. I mean, like Sky, love her or hate her, she's a good reality TV villain. She kind of, you know, she's clearly a lightning rod in this group. She seems to have fallen out with pretty much the entire cast, so I don't know what the road back for her would be. But, you know, she's delivered on the drama. Tannan, I think, is down for it. Some of the men are also down for it. And also, it's just nice to have GGMJ and Reza back on our TVs. And it just feels like, again, I've said this several times before, but it felt just the right time for them to pick up cameras. There's so much going on in their lives. And they're just so interconnected with this group. And it's been or it's resulted in a really solid

first season of a reality show it's not perfect and i feel like some of the newbies particularly

some of the husbands haven't necessarily popped but like ameer natasha their story like i think

about that kind of a lot like hearing about his late first wife and the medium coming and you know

them sort of unpacking why they have and haven't addressed

certain things. That whole thing has been really kind of fascinating to hear about, I think. And then

obviously MJ and Tommy breaking up, Gigi and Dennis having broken up and now getting back

into business together. Like there's a lot of interesting storylines here that I have been enjoying

watching. And I think part of the issue with the Valley

Persian style in its first season has been it airing on Thursday nights against the Traders. I mean,

Beverly Hills airs at 8, which is also on Thursday night, but it's an hour before the Traders

episodes drop on Peacock. And even then, like, I just feel like the Traders eats up so much of the
