0:40.1	I'm your host Robin Warder and if you grew up watching unsolved mysteries you'll
0:44.3	probably recognize that music we just played as it always preceded the sound of Robert
0:48.7	Staxe voice uttering the immortal word update.
0:51.7	Yes, it is now time for the trail went called third official update episode in which we'll
0:56.9	be discussing cases that we once featured on this podcast and have either been solved
1:01.6	or had some major developments this year.
1:04.0	And believe me, when I started the trail went called nearly seven years ago and never
1:08.1	envisioned that we would someday have enough material to produce an entire trilogy of
1:12.5	update episodes, but we are living in a pretty amazing era for true crime when it comes
1:17.2	to solving cold cases.
1:19.4	Our podcast released our first special update episode at the start of 2020 which was episode
1:24.6	number 155 and our second update episode which was episode number 257 came out at the
1:30.7	end of last year.
1:32.1	For the first nine months of 2022, I did not plan on releasing a new update episode this year
1:37.9	since I didn't believe there was enough material to discuss.
1:41.5	But once Autumn rolled around, the floodgates seemed open and the past few months have seen
1:46.1	some pretty surprising developments.
1:48.3	2022 has been a huge year for true crime overall with major developments in a number of high
1:54.3	profile cases.
