that legacy media outlets are too timid to touch.

Whatever the format, City Journal's work is distinguished by its empirical rigor, intellectual honesty,

and wit. There are things that just don't come across on the written page. Until you met some of

our favorite contributors and gotten to hear how they think about the world around them, you haven't

really experienced City Journal as I know it.

Conveniently, those people also happen to be fun and interesting human beings.

We love the discussions we have around the office or at the proverbial bar, and we want an

excuse to have more of them in a way that makes City Journal's audience part of the conversation.
