Morning, everybody. Welcome along to your free podcast for today. Being Monday and being Tour de France Day, it means that probably many of you are packing sandwiches, even as we speak, to get out there and enjoy a bit of cycling. Now, I'm not the biggest fan of cycling. I have pointed out in the past that I really couldn't care less about cycles, but there's something about the Tour de France. It's something about a lot of people out there. And it's something, I think it's to do with bringing the country together. I think I quite like the idea that people are out there on the streets and I think you're

clapping and cheering and that spurs them on to do other things.

That's why we did well in the Olympics.

That's why we were very good at it at putting it together because we all got behind it.

So that's why I quite like the Tour de France.

But there are road closure. So if you're listening to this particular

free podcast, and it's early in the morning, which it is, it's just before 7 o'clock now for us.

Make sure you listen to LBC to make sure you know where the road closures are. And also, if you're

thinking of driving into town, the advice is don't. Because there's going to be a lot of traffic,

there's going to be a lot of cyclists. The mall is already closed off. They were putting up the marquise down there yesterday.

So that's a place to avoid if you're one of those people who uses the mall as a cut-through

to get through to Victoria or to get down to Horse Guards Parade, forget it, because it's all

closed off. And just be aware, there's going to be hundreds of cyclists in there all at the same time.

So, Cambridgeshire, they get it first of all, and you can get out there and line the route, and then it'll go through.

I think it's going through Northwield, down through to Epping. So I think the whole of the road from the motorway all the way down to Epping is going to be closed off. So just be aware that there's going to be lots of
