Hello listeners, I'm sure many of you have heard of and perhaps even follow the news regarding the horrifying event that recently unfolded in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Although Canada is no stranger to murder, madness, and mayhem, we've been very fortunate to have largely avoided the type of mass murder and shootings

that have become common fixtures in other countries with similar values and cultures of

our own. Sadly, just days prior to recording what you're listening

to now, Canada, more specifically Young Street in downtown Toronto, was the

setting for the kind of event that many of us take comfort and

thinking could never happen here. At the time of recording, again only days after

this event occurred, we the public are only beginning to learn the details of what happened

and the true motive behind the attack is still little more than speculation.
