Are there any potential league-winning running backs available for week 14 on the waiver wire?

Welcome to Fantasy Football Today in 5.

I'm Chris Towers here on a Monday night slash Tuesday morning to talk about the top five waiver wire targets for week 14.

But first, let's talk about a game between the Patriots and Bills on Monday night that

well, might have set modern football back about 100 years.

This was an ugly one.

The Patriots won with three pass attempts.

Mac Jones completed two, so only one in complete pass.

This is the kind of game where you can't really take anything away from it because the environment was so different

from what you're usually going to see. When Gus, up to 40 miles an hour, it was freezing cold.

And even the bills, you know, despite trailing most of the game, only attempted low 30s and

passes. So not much we can take away.

But one important news item to note, Damien Harris exited the game with a hamstring injury.

Now, Patriots are on a buy in week 14.

So it may not matter all that much because maybe it's a minor injury and he gets healthy during the buy.

But if not, you know, if Damien Harris is looking at a multi-week absence, that could make Ramandre Stevenson one of the potential league winners for fantasy. We saw him start for the Patriots a few weeks ago. He had 20 carries for 100 yards, two touchdowns and four catches. He's been the only Patriots running back really over the last couple of seasons. Sonny Michelle wasn't Michelle wasn't being used as a three down back. Neither is Damien Harris. Ramadre Stevenson is kind of the only guy who's had both a running and passing game role that had value. So if Damien Harris is out and Stevenson gets a bulk of the work, you know, he could be someone who's a top 15 running back down the stretch.

So that's something to keep an eye on through the buy.
