This year, national attention was focused on a small courthouse in Deda, Massachusetts,

as Karen Reid stood trial for the death of her boyfriend, Boston police officer John O'Keefe.

After explosive testimonies and four days of deliberations,

Karen Reid was acquitted of second-degree murder and found guilty on one charge,

operating under the influence.

Fox News National correspondent Brian Yennis joined me from outside the Norfolk County Courthouse

to share his breaking news coverage of the polarizing verdict.

It was really quite extraordinary.

I have not covered a trial where there was a crowd of people cheering on the woman, or in this case,

the defendant, who is being accused of murdering a police officer.

And that's exactly what we saw today.

Hundreds of people who have been coming out to the trial every single day here in Denham,

Massachusetts supporting Karen Reid, not only in the first

trial last year, but also in the retrial. And this crowd is made up of mostly women. They're

wearing pink, which is Karen Reed's favorite color. They come from Texas, North Carolina,

New Jersey, from all over. And these are people that felt moved enough to come here and support somebody they've never met.

You ask them why they came.

They told me that this is about a system they feel is corrupt that was stacked against Karen Reid.

The defense, of course, argued in this

case all along that Karen Reed was framed by the police, and that really resonated with folks.
