Well, we'll come on to an annual tradition here at Dunkton and is quite annual because we do it

right around the first of the year every year. And well, the NBA calendar can be a little odd

because it doesn't follow the Julian calendar necessarily. I do think it's interesting to utilize

this to take stock of what's just happened over the last year.

So we do this every year.

We will talk about the biggest stories of the just past year, which we did.

And then we also, which will probably do on a future episode, talk about what we think

will be the biggest stories of the next year.

So one of the fun things is when we're doing our retroactive, we can go back and see

what did we think would be the biggest stories of the year and what did it actually turn

out to be?

And it's, I like doing this because you can really look at it and see what was seismic

over the course of a year.

It's so easily in today's modern world, whether it's NBA or any other kind of news,

to myopically focus on the day to day. And I once read this book that said, hey, what if you

did your headlines worldwide every 10 years? And that's the only time you looked at it.

How would the headlines change versus what it is on a day-to-day news cycle?

So we could try to apply a little bit of that lens to the NBA here.
