Hello and welcome to the Autosport podcast.

Earlier this month, marked 10 years since the Formula E Championship held its very first race,

and over the last decade, a total of 132 races have been held on city street circuits

and permanent racetracks across the world.

During that time there have been no fewer than 86 drivers who have competed in at least one race,

including a Formula One World Champion, Le Mont 24 hour race winners and Indy 500 victors.

And we thought now would be the perfect time to whittle down all those drivers and create a top 10 list of the best to have ever raced in the All Electric Championship. I'm Stefan Mackley, formerly reporter for Otersport,

and helping to debate our top 10 pick is someone that has been part of formula he's presenting

team for a number of years and part of the championship for seven, and that is Saunders Carmichael

Brown. Saunders, thank you very much for joining me. How are you? Pleasure, mate. Yeah, good to be here.

Doing very well. Thank you. How are you? Good. Yeah, good. How, I mean, we're in a bit of a

little at the minute, aren't we for Formula? It's obviously the, the off season, preseason doesn't

start until the start of November. I mean, how have you sort of been enjoying your time off. I've been enjoying it very much. I've been trying, I've been traveling a little bit.

I've been trying to like, you know, detox the mind a bit. But there has been a little element

sort of sprinkles of formulae within the off season because it is, you know, we call it the

off season, but there's always so much that happens. You can't really fully switch off because

if it isn't the driver lineups changing and the driver market

moving left, right and center, then it's preparation for next year. It's talking about

what sort of content we're going to be doing next year, how the broadcast team might be

assembled, all that stuff. And I actually very fortunately, and hopefully by the time this goes

out, it will be live, if not very shortly afterwards, got to do a bit of an electric road trip
