including the startling revelation that Cleland hated front wheel drive, dealing with the rise of popularity the series had in the 90s,

and asking if there was one super touring car I always wanted to drive, but never did.

I don't think I need to tell you who I've got two touring car legends with me.

We've got Steve Soper and John Cleland.

And I'm going to start straight away with Steve asking you,

how did it go this morning with the E36 Supertera?

Yeah, it was quite good.

I would have taken second before qualifying if someone offered it me.

So the fact we ended up in second place is probably the best it could do.

I can't beat Jake.

If I was 40 years younger,

I probably couldn't beat him, let alone now. He's got a quicker car as well, isn't he? To be fair,

all these are the excuses. I'm impressed the excuses already. But to be fair, there was such an evolution in these cars year on year
