Welcome back my friends. It's time for us to get our minds aligned with the truth of God for this day

so that we can live rightly in the world. We can live in a way that brings glory and honor to Jesus Christ.

And as a bonus, it gives us great joy.

Because we get to live in ways that we know please our Savior Jesus Christ.

Welcome my friends I'm so glad you are here.

We are looking at the Gospel of John chapter 14 and Jesus is preparing his disciples for his departure, for his death on the

cross, his burial, his resurrection, and he's just begun speaking about the time in their lives when he will have died,

will have been buried, and will have risen from the grave.

And he's referring to it in verse number 20 by saying in that day. He's saying in that day when I've risen from the grave you will know something.

And so we need to just pause for a moment and we need to think, okay, Jesus, when we like the disciples

see and understand and comprehend and actually embrace that you are Rism from the Grave.

It's not a fairy tailor myth, it's the truth.

What is it that we're going to know?

And let's notice what he says.

He says, in that day you will know that I, Jesus, am in my father, and you,

in me, and I in you. Now a few episodes ago we talked about prepositions. There are parts of

speech that are many times spatial and relational in nature and the word in is one of those.

Notice the many times in this verse that Jesus uses the word in.

First of all, he says in that day.

So at the time that his resurrection has occurred

is what he's referring to.

He says, you will know that I am in my father. So picture this, use your imagination, picture Jesus moving or being placed inside the father.
