What's up, everybody? I have a special surprise episode for you guys today. Because the reason we all

invest is for our family, right? Either the children that you're going to have in the future or the

children that you have today. And growing up, I didn't have the family dynamic that I wanted.

I didn't have the father that was present. I didn't have this rosy white picket fence kind of upbringing.

And so I was like, I'll be damned if my kids go through that.

I want to learn how to invest so that my kids can have the freedom and the love and support that I did not have.

But what happens, ladies and gentlemen, is a lot of us, a lot of us.

Guess on the show as well will spend all their waking time, energy, and effort working on

their businesses, on their real estate portfolios, on their investments, and they forget

to actually raise their kids and spend time with the family that they're air quotes doing all

of this for. So today's podcast episode is a live call that we did within our Action Academy community

with Jim and Jamie Shields, the authors of the family board meeting, which I believe to be

the best book on parenting for entrepreneurial households and entrepreneurial couples.

And so today you get to hear about Jim and Jamie.

You get to hear about their concept of 18 summers where you have 18 summers with your kids to

really get it right.

And if you get it right, they'll be around for the rest of your life.

And if you get it wrong, you're not going to see them anymore.
