Good evening, children.

It's Granny MacDuff, ready with a story.

So make yourselves comfy, and a mother pig and her three little pigs.

And however sad it made her, the mother pig knew that the time had come for her little ones to begin life on their own.

So she packed them each a lunch and sent them out to find their fortunes,

waving her handkerchief as the little pig set out into the world.

They oinked and sobbed, but they knew it was time to grow up.

The first pig to leave came upon a man carrying straw on the road and he said,

Please sir, may I have a bit of that straw so that I might build myself a house?

The man gave him some straw and the little pig was able to build a house with "'The man gave him some straw,

"'and the little pig was able to build a house with it.

"'And just as he finished and sat for his lunch,

"'a wolf came to his door.

"'The little pig quickly secured the bolt.

"'The wolf knocked and said,

"'Little pig, little pig, let me come in.
