And today we're playing a very special episode, a live taping of the

Free Trail podcast with none other than the greatest to ever do it, Mr. Killian Jornett.

This episode was recorded live in front of an audience at TrailCon on Thursday, June 25th

from Palisades Tahoe.

Of course that means it was recorded a couple of days

before Killian's amazing third place finish at the 2025 Western States 100, where he clocked

a ridiculously fast 14-hour, 19-minute finishing time, one of the fastest in Western States history.

So this is not a post-race interview where we talk about as race performance, nor is it really a pre-race interview. Instead,

based on a suggestion that I got from a friend, we focused on what we're calling the three

faces of Killian Jornett, Killian the athlete, Killian the philanthropist

and founder of the Killian Jornett Foundation, and of course Killian, the co-founder of Normal.

It's always in honor to have the goat on the show.
