decided it was time for his son to go out and learn a trade.

But which trade he did not know.

So he went out into the meadow and asked the wind.

Thieving. Thieving! cried the wind.

So Lars told his son Yosef he should learn thieving.

He took the boy to town to try to find a man who was a thief himself, but they found none.

So Lars turned to the woods.

They walked for a day until they found a little house with an old woman sitting outside just by the door in a rather large rocking chair.

Do you know where we might find a man who could teach my son thieving?
