0:44.3	The most complete commentary on Jesus as our shepherd is found in John chapter number 10.
0:47.1	And today I'd like to concentrate our attention there.
0:52.8	The Lord is my shepherd, and I'd like to introduce you to him today.
0:55.8	Jesus is speaking in John 10, verse 1, he says,
0:57.4	Verily, verily, I say unto you,
1:01.0	He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold,
1:02.7	but climbeth up some other way,
1:05.9	the same as a thief and a robber.
1:10.5	But he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep.
1:16.7	Would you notice, please, the contrast that Jesus draws between the thief and the shepherd?
1:21.6	It's a great contrast, really, between religious leaders and the true shepherd.
1:28.9	The contrast between religious people and those who really know the Lord.
1:31.5	This is a fascinating passage of Scripture.
1:33.8	Think of the thief and the shepherd.
1:35.9	Jesus used many names for the devil.
1:38.7	He called him tempter and accuser and liar and murderer and prince of this world and prince of devils.
1:42.0	But here he is seen as a thief.
