Welcome to For Your Amusement, a theme park podcast that aims to exhaustively evaluate the world's most popular theme park attractions to determine if they are world class. I'm Ryan Pergara. I'm

Brian Marin. And for today's episode, we're ranking the top five big threes of theme parks.

And let me get into a little bit of what that means because it sounds confusing. What that means

is what are the five parks in the world that have the best lineup of top three rides in that park.

To demonstrate what I mean, I'll talk about a park that undoubtedly will not sniff this top

five list. And I'm going to go with a homegrown one, so apologize. But no disrespect meant

by this. For instance, the top three rides at Universal Studios Hollywood are the studio tour,

forbidden journey, and Jurassic World. That would be, where do we see that in the top five?

Probably not in the top five. And also, we are going to be ranking just rides, not shows.

Yes. But once again, Universal Studios, Hollywood, not going to get it done. No disrespect. I love that park. Studio tour one of my favorite rides of all time. That being said, our top fives are made by a consensus between the two of us. So, and that's a point system. Byron and I each made our own top fives and a ranking of first is worth five points. A ranking of second is worth four, and so on and so on, and then I tallied the scores to create this

aggregate ranking. As such, only I know the contents of this list, and the rankings will be

revealed to not only you guys, but to Byron as well. And that also means this list can be vulnerable

to what we refer to as a muscle job in which somebody

purposely lists something higher than it should be so that you could sneak it onto the aggregate

list. We'll also be sharing our least favorite top three lineup as well. Oh, and also,
