Heading into week 10, the Steeler said at 5 and 3 nearly halfway through the regular season.

And while the offense is still struggling,

and the preseason expectations for a bullyball

rushing attack have fizzled, Pittsburgh

posted a season high 166 rushing yards

and 5.5 yards per attempt in their last game against the Tennessee Titans.

The Jaylin Warren versus Nodgy Harris debate that began in the preseason has finally quieted

as the team continues with a one-two running back punch using both players throughout each game.

Nodji Harris has been the starter in all eight games this year and has out snapped Warren 2-1

but with only 382 rushing yards and two rushing touchdown so far, Harris is on pace

for his worst statistical season since coming into the league in 2021 after

surpassing 1,000 yards rushing in his first two

seasons. The same is true when it comes to his receiving output compared to prior

years. When it comes to his future this season is very important for Harris. As a former first-round pick,

the team will need to decide whether to pick up his fifth-year option in the upcoming

off season by next May. If they do, he will likely be guaranteed to earn just over $7 million in the final additional year of his rookie contract.

The other option, of course, would be to offer Harris a contract extension before his fourth season,

adding both years and cash to keep

him off the market and avoid having to use the franchise tag at any point.
