I'm Alex Kizora. Sunday's game against the Jacksonville Jaguars will test how good this Steelers defense really is.

While they've been the better overall of the two units, offense and defense,

Pittsburgh's D is not what I would call elite or even all that good. What they are is opportunistic. Splash plays,

sacks, turnovers, timely moments that can change the course of games.

And hey, if you're not going to be elite or stout you better

make some splash and they are but don't face another tough and potent looking

group this weekend against the Jags group of skill guys. Christian Kirk and

Calvin Ridley at wide receiver, Travis E. Tien at running back, and the

underrated Evan Ingram at Tight End, all with Trevor Lawrence getting them the ball.

Can Pittsburgh consistently stack up?

The Steelers can take away one of those guys, as they largely did to Cooper Cup last weekend,

but they were chewed up by Pukinakua and the

jacks have a deeper group of guys, especially with a healthy backfield unlike the

Rams who still ran the ball well. In a lot of ways, the Jags and Rams offenses are similar in skill and construction.

Sure, the Rams were held to only 17 points, but will T.J. Watt make another game-changing

interception?

Will the Jags miss two field goals and an extra point

like the Rams Brett Mart did?

Maybe not.

I'm not trying to splash a bucket of cold water on this game and lit miss tests midway

through a season seems a little flimsy but the steeler secondary has to step up in
