Welcome to the terrible take a daily segment telling Steelers nation what's on our mind. I'm Alex Kizora.

It's a Monday and I'm finally talking about the game that was played as opposed to some side story I have the last two weeks and what a win it was it was messy it was ugly

It makes you question if you should even feel good about the victory.

Ah yes, a true Pittsburgh Steelers win, ride the lightning.

There's no doubt Baltimore did everything, and I mean everything they could, to make and keep this a game.

Seven drops, bone-headed decisions to leap points on the board.

They could have won this one 30 to 3.

Seriously, they had those chances. But like a leaky faucet, let the Steelers

trip enough and they'll turn into a huge headache. Yeah, Pittsburgh themselves needs plenty

of TLC. They're a fixer-upper with cracks and

creaks in that weird smell you're never quite sure the source of. But the Steelers

like that first house you bought from the dude in the bus stop

bad with the bad suit, it's yours, it's home. You gotta love them.

For all their warts, Pittsburgh is three and two in leading the AFC north as they head into the buy.

On September 1st, you would have signed up for that.

And though no team has ever hated a buy week, this is an ideal time to get healthy for Pickett for all those

who sat out Sunday for Deontay Johnson and maybe Cam Hayward I don't count this guy out as soon as he's eligible to return, which will be after the buy. The Steelers still aren't AFC contenders, but they're hanging around. That's what they do. For all they've been through, I'm good with that.
