I'm Alex Kazora. It's week five. The Steelers are two and two.

Things feel a little worse than it looks at least on paper.

While this is only Pittsburgh's first meeting against Baltimore this year

and only the second against an AFC North team, this one

one, this one feels pivotal, critical.

Let's set the stage.

Beat the Ravens in Pittsburgh, believe it or not, moves to first place in the AFC north as they

head into their byweek. They're three and two and things suddenly don't feel so bad, just as it did after beating the Browns after getting whooped by the 49ers

to open the season. If you said the Steelers would be leading the division at the

by, I think most would sign up for that. But lose to the

Ravens, even though it will only be five games the Steelers dropped a two and

three. The Ravens they advanced to four and one and with Pittsburgh having their

buy they might not play another game until Baltimore is five and one should they

beat the Titans in week six. That would put

Pittsburgh several games back with the Ravens winning that first matchup.

In other words, winning the north becomes an incredibly tough climb.

Typically, week fives don't define your season, but in this case, with the Steelers in this

uncertain, intense state, man man they could really use a victory
