Kim Hayward and Deonti Johnson headline the Steelers injury report heading in the Monday nights game against the Cleveland Browns.

Hayward on I. R. Johnson very unlikely to play in this game.

And no doubt they are killer blows.

Hayward is the lifeblood of the defense and Johnson is the team's best separator

against some tough Browns D.B.

That would have come in handy.

But when it comes to injuries, I'm focused on what's happening with

offensive tackle Chuck Wuma, a core for. He's currently in concussion protocol

limited on Thursday and going through the many steps required to get cleared.

Maybe he will be.

Having the extra day certainly helps.

In Pittsburgh, better hope he does because if not, they are in a tight spot. If a core four can't go it sounds like Broderick Jones will get a nod at

right tackle practicing there this week with a corps for recovering.

That would mean Jones first NFL start could come at right tackle

when he was, of course, drafted to be the team's left tackle of the future.

And it's not like Jones has much experience there a little bit at Georgia

and that's about it he was primarily a left tackle with the Bulldogs and took zero and

I mean zero snaps at right tackle in training camp, or during the Steelers three pre-season

games. And it would come against a talented and Deep Brown's D-line and Pass Rush that did damage

on Joe Burrow last weekend.
