This is my final terrible take before the Steelers kick off week one and that's where my focus lies I'm a one week at a time

the same, I'm taking a quick glance to next season, really next off season. I think if there's a conversation we're going to spend a lot of time talking about after this year ends, it's the Steelers offensive tackles.

The status of all three in their own ways are uncertain.

As Dave has outlined, Chuck Wilma Correfor's do a $4 million roster bonus next March.

Will he play well enough to be kept around? Possibly, they do like him, but it may depend on how the other tackles look.

Dan Moore Jr. is entering a big year three, a free agent after the 2024 season and played well enough to pretty easily earn the left

tackled job this year. He worked hard and got better, but there ended up not being a major

competition between him and rookie Broderick Jones, more comfortably in the lead start to finish.

Then of course there's Jones, beginning the year on the bench, but it will likely see action to some degree in

2023. How does his technique look? You have to think he's going to be the

starter in 2024 else there might be some problems with that selection. That could mean more goes to the bench, or maybe they try him at right tackle over a core for. I don't know. No one does. What I can tell you is it's a situation that will have our attention come March.
