I enjoy Steelers training camp for the big moments George Pickens sensational, Joey Porter's interception in two-minute drill yesterday.

But I really love Camp for the little moments.

That makes Camp Camp.

Hagen's aside to go over a coaching point after Hagen's lost a rep in a

coverage receiving drill on Wednesday and yesterday seeing how Mike Tomlin operates.

So here's the scene.

A keen Butler, the wide receiver, drops a pass in 7 on 7 right through his hands and

Tomlin gets on him to make the routine plays routinely.

He repeats it a couple times out loud and then all of a sudden, Tomlin starts talking to

Deontay Johnson about it.

Mind you, Johnson did not drop the pass.

He didn't even practice Thursday.

But Johnson heard it from Tomlin, the same points

about the importance of making those routine plays.

Johnson then walked over to the sideline and seemed to say the same to Butler

before leaving him a ward of encouragement at the end.

All of that to say, Tomlin gave the message to Butler, then made sure to have it be

relayed from a player and the message was a reminder to Johnson too. That's what makes Mike

Tomlin the coach that he is. He leads, he teaches, and he empowers his

players to lead and teach, and everyone learns and everyone gets better. I just really loved that moment. The windows into the game only
