I'm back from my one week's staycation and want to catch up on all that I missed in what was a relatively busy NFL week for mid-July

right ahead of training camp.

Viva the Revolution, there is a running back revolt as Nausey Harris and other big name backs got together this weekend to discuss their market in future as Melanie Freelander touched on Sunday.

But the biggest Steelers news was Alex Highsmith reaching a long-term deal with Pittsburgh, a mega extension that

as Josh Carney noted was very much deserving. Just echoing those thoughts to watch Highsmith

go from Zero Star and Unknown to a 68 million dollar extension is

incredible. He beats some wild odds and earn every bit of that deal. Big picture

it's been a strong off season for Omar Khan in his first full

off season as Steelers GM. Of course a year from now some moves will have worked out as

expected and some will not he won't bat a thousand nobody does

But he's taken ownership of this roster built it with a clear vision and things look better entering 2023 than they did in

2022. I can't wait to see how it all unfolds. Players report Wednesday with

the first practice Thursday it's to be a lot of fun.
