Rothusberger Kenny Pick at comments made during Sunday's episode of Ben's

podcast. As expected and as Rothusberger even admitted, they drew a boatload of attention locally and nationally. No surprise there. But lost in those comments about picket success or failure is a theme, a pattern

Rotherberger has repeated the idea that he felt like he could still play in 2022.

Samwitched in all those comments was Ben saying,

quote, when someone comes in to replace you

and I still feel like I had it, end quote.

And it's not the first time Ben has said that on his podcast. I think it's pretty clear

Ben felt like if given the chance if he had the opportunity he would have and could

have played in 2022. He wanted to play, I think that's pretty clear.

But the Steelers, as they've done with a delicate touch to names like Troy Palomalu before, were ready to move on.
