The NFL never misses a chance to get fans to tune in,

so it's no surprise that the release of the schedule for the upcoming NFL season has become an actual event.

NFL network broadcasts the big reveal and breaks it down.

And before that, there are the leaks that occur throughout the day

as individual matchups get

tweeted by NFL insiders. For me I would prefer to just get a notification on my

phone that the new schedule is available on the Steeler's website but I'm happy

for those who get a kick out of the spectacle.

I don't get too worked up about the schedule once I have a chance to look it over either.

Every NFL team will have their tougher runs and weeks with longer travel.

And I don't think that the league can really add any bias to screw one team over or make it easier

for another when sorting out the Rubik's Cube that this complex schedule is.
