Welcome to the terrible take, a daily segment telling Steelers nation what's on our mind. I'm Alex Kazora.

As you guys are well aware, I am not a schedule guy. It's something I'm basically forced to look at and react to.

And while I think most of the commentary here is just noise, no one will care about once

training camp opens up, I'll give a quick recap of the things I like and don't

like about the Steelers' 2023 schedule. Not in a win-loss viewpoint, but just a structure standpoint, the only thing these schedules are good for.

I like having the home opener, because of course I do, and having back-to-back home games to start a year is pretty cool.

It feels like an NFL apology for all those Pittsburgh road openers.

I like playing the Ravens early in a year for once just to avoid waiting for that marquee

matchup in week 12 or whatever. I don't even dislike the earliest week 6 by a good

chance for still a young team to review itself which is then followed by three of the next four games coming at home

Now here's what I dislike the end of the season schedule is rough I'm not going to lie three of the last four on the

road with week 17 at Seattle followed by week 18 at Baltimore that's going to be

brutal for what will likely be two key games.

I don't like the two Thursday night games because short weeks are a killer for work.
