There's an obvious fact around the NFL that teams know about the Pittsburgh Steelers. It's not a secret.

The Steelers aren't trying to hide it. And on Thursday,

head coach Mike Tomlin came right out and admitted it in a discussion he

posted on Instagram and Twitter, which by the way I think we all hope he does more of

these in the future.

Tomlin straight up admitted that the Pittsburgh Steelers are infatuated with NFL bloodlines,

and more specifically, brothers.

Tomlin cited there are tangible and intangible benefits to having brothers on the Steelers roster.

For one, tangibly genetics.

Height, weight, speed, and agility is a tangible trait that oftentimes are found in two brothers.

Shared DNA causes brothers to have similar abilities.

Next, Tomlin cited the competitive spirit of growing up with your brother and playing sports together in the backyard or driveway.

Brothers share similar environmental shapings.

T.J. Watt, for example, benefited on the exposure he received by being in the green room when his older brother

J.J. got drafted. T.J. got to see his older brother J.J. hugged the commissioner and see what it meant to his family.

J.J. set the bar high.

Lastly, Tomlin cites the Brotherhood in the business of the NFL.

Tomlin says, what better way to capture the real brotherhood

than to have real brothers in the locker room?
