A few days removed from the conclusion of a terrific draft hall for the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Excitement remains rather high around the class that the black and gold put together

in the first draft under GM Omar Khan.

Excitement should be high regarding the selections of offensive tackle Broder Jones,

cornerback Joey Porter Jr. and tight-end Darnell Washington.

As all were big gets in key positions and profile as impactful players right away for the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2023.

That type of value the Steelers got with those three is pretty impressive overall. But the selections of Porter

Jr. and Washington seem to be overshadowing the selection of the player that

might end up being the best in the Steelers draft class. That being Wisconsin defensive tackle,

Keanu Benton. Benton was a player that went right around where he should have in the draft,

that being at number 49 overall.
