holding the first pick of the second round,

which will kick-start day two of the 2023 NFL draft in Kansas City.

Not once in Mike Tomlin's tenure have the Steelers held a pick to start around.

That can also cover the entire 20-plus year span of Kevin Colbert's era.

you'd have to go all the way back to the 1989 NFL draft,

when Pittsburgh drafted seventh overall

There was also 2004, of course the year the Steelers drafted Ben Rothschildisberger.

But in the second round that year, Pittsburgh moved up from 11th overall to 8th, grabbing
