I've been going down the NFL draft Rabbit Hole the last couple of days watching old broadcasts of past drafts.

First there was 2010, then 09, then I went all the way back to 1998,

the famous or infamous Peyton Manning Ryanleaf draft.

But what was most interesting about that draft was not the players, but the openness of the process.

Reporters would stand outside war rooms in openness of the process.
