It's no secret that the 2023 cornerback class is very deep.

Because of the depth at the cornerback position,

Pittsburgh could elect to wait until day two of the NFL

draft to select a corner. Having already signed 32 year old Patrick Peterson

and Free Agency, Pittsburgh would love to bring in a young corner for Peterson to mentor. From a size, speed, and pedigree standpoint, no

cornerback prospect compares more to Patrick Peterson coming out of college better than Keeley Ringo from Georgia.

At 6-2007 pounds, the five-star recruit coming out of high school Ringo's size and speed is prototypical for an

NFL corner.

Of all the corners in this year's draft Ringo can benefit the most learning under Patrick Peterson. Ringo can use

Peterson's mentorship to improve on his inconsistencies. He posted a 4.36 second 40-yard dash at the NFL combine and that was the fastest of any

player over 200 pounds at this year's combine.

The Steelers used one of its 30 pre-draft visits on Ringo.
