I want to pick up today's terrible take branching off an article I wrote on Sunday the future of the Steelers slot

corner position especially on passing downs. As of now it's unclear who that guy

will be. Arthur Millett, the Monte Casey, Trade Norwood, all less than ideal for a variety of reasons.

Now the draft is still weeks away and of course Pittsburgh could find an answer there.

When I wrote posing this question, one pushback I received

was the Steelers, well, they'll figure it out.

And I'm sure they're aware of the hole they have there.

But all you have to do is go back to 2021 and see when the

Steelers were in the same position. Mike Hilton had left, Stephen Nelson was

caught and Camp Sutton was shifted to play right corner and the Steelers they never really

address things. The only DB they drafted that year was Trade Norwood in the seventh

round and though he had a good rookie year it was was in dime packages, not as a slot corner.
