It's no secret, the Pittsburgh Steelers have been searching for a stud off-ball inside linebacker ever since the tragic injury to Ryan Chazir

Devon Bush did not live up to the draft capital and expectations.

Robert Spillane is a nice role player, but certainly not the impact player that

Shezier was. Now that brings us to Miles Jack, whom the Steelers signed last off season to fill that void.

Unfortunately for the Steelers, Miles Jack has not lived up to expectations either. He was injured for most of last season and his play on the field reflected it.

Miles Jack has not recorded an interception, a sack, forced fumble, or fumble recovery in the last 35 games played.

If the Steelers were to cut Miles Jack before the start of free agency, they would save $8 million.

On top of all this, there seems to be a clear two-st stud inside linebacker in the NFL draft that will be picked

in the range of the Steelers' first two picks at 17 and 32.

I could easily see the Pittsburgh Steelers selecting Arkansas's Drew Sanders or Clemson's Trenton Simpson to step in and be a day one starter for the Steelers at Inside linebacker.

I believe Miles Jack should and ultimately will be cut prior to the start of free agency on March 15th.
