today's take revolves around the Pro Bowl and I know the game doesn't have much to analyze it was silly but at least more

honest in a tiny bit fun so I support the league building upon the first year

even if it was far from perfect. But my thoughts here have nothing to do with the actual weekend

events. It's about who attended in the accolades on the resume. I'm as happy as anyone that Kim Hayward is in the Pro Bowl

making it as an alternate for Chris Jones whose chiefs are in this weekend

Super Bowl. It's critical for Hayward's Hall of Fame resume, the 6 Pro Bowl of his career.

That's not reflected on his profile page, a 6 Pro Bowl appearance. But taking off my Steelers'

hat for a second should alternates really get full credit on their career resumes?

Hypothetically, the tenth alternate wide receiver could get Pro Bowl on his resume if enough guys ahead of him do not play.

Raven's quarterback Tyler Huntley is going to be a Pro Bowler and no one will remember his alternate status after throwing two touchdowns this season. It's just weird.

Those guys did not make the initial pro ball ballad. By definition, they are not pro bowlers.

So here's my take. Of course alternates can go to the Pro Bowl. You don't want it
