Welcome to the terrible take, a daily segment telling Stieters Nation what's on our mind.

I'm Dave Bryan.

While it's still very early in the off season, like most of you, I'm already starting to think about what the Pittsburgh

Stieters might do in the 2023 NFL draft,

and especially when it comes to their first two picks. While a lot can and will change by the time the

draft gets here, I can't help but think that one of their first two draft selections is likely to wind up being a defensive linemen.

Why? Well, when you look at the defensive linemen, the Steelers currently have under contract for the

2003 season. That list includes Cameron Hayward,

Montreal, Montreal, Isaiah Loudermilk, Jonathan Marshall,

De Marvin Leal, and Rhen Marshall,

Renn. Honestly, Louder Milk, Adams, Marshall, and Renn are all more backup types at this point.

Heck, Renn only played one defensive snap for the Steelers in 2022,

while Marshall didn't even dress for a game

after he was acquired late in the season.
