Welcome to the terrible take a daily segment telling Steelers nation what's on our mind. I'm Alex Kazora.

Here's how I hope Sunday night goes. Patriots beat the Dolphins earlier in the day Steelers beat the Ravens to finish off the weekend.

That's ideal. Keeps Pittsburgh's playoff hopes very much alive. We all know that.

Here's my worry of how a Sunday night goes.

A repeat of week 17, 2019. Steelers need help and they don't

get it in their finale against the Ravens loses all its luster. That year the Steelers

entered the final weekend needing to beat Baltimore and to have the Houston Texans upset to Tennessee Titans.

Both games kicked off at 425 p.m.

By about halfway through it became clear the Titans were going to win and they did and you

could feel it sucked the life out of the Steelers. Sure it was still Steelers

Ravens and that always means something but the deflation of seeing your

play of hopes evaporate is inescapable.

Both Ravens games, 2019 and this weekend, War and are on the road, and you can bet the

Ravens operations staff will be plastering that Dolphins Patriots score if it goes against

the Steelers way.

Now Pittsburgh's created their own mess and they forced themselves to hope someone else helps

them clean it up. There's no one to blame but

themselves. Eliminated or not. Beating the Ravens is always sweet. Hurting their

AFSC North chances certainly means something. But making the playoffs is the Steelers goal, and if they fall short of that

marked by kickoff, it's going to be hard to get up for this game.
