I'm firmly in the camp that no one on the Steelers roster deserves to hoist the Lombardi

trophy more than defensive linemen Cameron Hayward. Still playing at an

extremely high level, Cam Hayward is the longest tenured Steeler.

Hayward fell into the Steelers lap at the NFL draft in 2011

and has been playing at an all-pro level ever since.

I truly believe that CAM has three to four more years of playing at a high level left in the

tank.

Look no further than across the field on Sunday at 36 year old Kaleus Campbell, who blocked a Steelers field goal attempt and is still playing at a high level.

Off the field, Cam Hayward is just as impactful as on the field.

Yet again, Hayward is the Steelers candidate for the Walter Payton Man of the Year Charity Challenge.

I strongly urge Steelers Nation, please support Cam Hayward in his nomination for

the Charity Challenge.

On a personal note, Cam Hayward and his wonderful mother, Charlotte Hayward Wesley, have been changing lives for years now

with their nonprofit organization the Hayward House. After I struggled with my

health for most of this year, they made an impact on me that I'll never forget.
