If the lack of Pass Rush showed how valuable TJ Watt was during the time he missed. The Steelers lack of kick-covered success

should show how valuable Miles Boykin is to this team. Boykin was injured early in the team's

week 11 loss to the Cincinnati Bangles.

Since then, Pittsburgh's kick coverage has tanked.

They were a mess against the Colts, not only allowing an 89-yard runback that made the game competitive again, but they also allowed a 45 yard

return and struggled throughout the entire game.

To the point where the Colts were challenging their returns, taking them deep out of the end zone, which shows how much Pittsburgh struggled.

Now Boykin's one man of a unit, and who knows what would have happened had he played.

The team had been showing cracks with this group since the buy even before Boykin got hurt.

But he's a top-level special teamer, a great gunner and asset on kick returns as well.

A line is R5 right down the middle where the colts got a couple of their big runbacks from.

I always say it and I'll say it again. Most people take special teams for granted as an

afterthought until it bites them in the butt.
