It wasn't supposed to be this way, not like last time. Now we're into early May, and it's the same

song and dance with the Pittsburgh Steelers and Aaron Rogers. Sort of. Rogers still hasn't made up

his mind, and the Steelers' patience might be wearing thin. The Post-Gazette's Jerry Dulac reported

Monday that the Steelers could be getting frustrated with the Rogers situation, especially if he doesn't make a decision by OTAs on May 18th.

That sounds all well and good, but would the Steelers actually make the decision to pull out

of the Rogers' sweepstakes if he doesn't make up his mind by then?

It seems highly unlikely, considering they've waited this long once again,

and veteran players in the roster seem to be counting on him to return,

to help them compete in 2026.

But if Rogers doesn't make up his mind by OTAs,

it wouldn't be a bad idea for the Steelers to just pull the plug

and move forward under Mike McCarthy with Will Howard,

...
