a long, long time. But Heidenreich is more than just a feel-good moment. Sure, he's a seventh-round

pick with an uphill battle to make the 53-man roster ahead, but he's a tremendous athlete,

with that coveted versatility that new head coach Mike McCarthy continues to talk about.

Heidenreichs a football player first, as he stated Saturday in his introductory press conference,

and he's going to do whatever is asked of him on the field, just like he did at Navy.
