I'm Melanie Friedlander. As the Steelers transition their focus from

free agency to draft preparation, they still have a major question when it comes to the starting

quarterback for the 2026 season. Aaron Rogers seems to be keeping the team in limbo with the same

will-he-or-he-drama that lingered for months in the off-season last year. While Art Roney has said

that he wants to have an

answer before the draft, no confirmation has come from Rogers that that will be the case. Or maybe it's

already a done deal verbally. Last year, it seemed that Mike Tomlin and Omar Khan were confident that

Rogers would be joining them in Pittsburgh long before it ever appeared on an NFL transaction

sheet. That could be the case again now,

or they could still be negotiating contract details, or Rogers just hasn't made up his mind

...
