Though team president and owner Art Rooney II didn't rule out the next head coach retaining

certain position coaches for his next staff, major change is coming for the Steelers.

Despite that major change coming, the Steelers need to ensure the next

head coach does at least one thing on the staff immediately. Outside of retaining special teams

coordinator Danny Smith, the Steelers next head coach must keep Pat Meyer as offensive line coach.

No, really. That might have sounded blasphemous entering the 2025 season

as the offensive line was a disappointment under Meyer the first few years he was on staff. But the

investments the Steelers have made in recent years up front started to really pay off in 2025. And that's
