talking about when he tweeted the following, but it seems applicable to the Steelers, and certainly

just after they had lost to the Cleveland Browns, quote, having a bad team with a bunch of young

players gaining experience and growing, short beats having a bad team with a bunch of young players gaining experience and growing

short beats having a bad team with a bunch of washed up veteran guys hogging reps.

If that doesn't sum up certain aspects of the Steelers, I don't know what does and none

more accurately than the situation playing out at wide receiver right now, Roman Wilson, a third

round pick just a year ago, now in his second season, basically unable to see the field just

played nine snaps and didn't even get targeted a single time while guys like Marcus Vaudes

Scantling, Adam Thielen,

Scotty Miller even played a ton of snaps and received a ton of targets.

And this even came after Mike Tomlin challenged Roman Wilson very publicly,

saying that they had had a conversation about what needs to happen with this next opportunity.

He even said it as early as Tuesday that guys like Wilson would be benefiting from

DK Metcalf being sidelined, the whole next man up thing.

Yet they turn around and give him basically no opportunity all in the name of having veterans

who supposedly know what they're doing out there.

Yet you see Marcus Vaudes Scantling when he's getting targeted on the last few plays of the game
