Close the books on the offseason and open up to page one of 2025's new year.

Players report today with the first practice Thursday.

Of course, we'll be there to talk about everything

that's happening. But I think going in, the theme of Steelers camp will be Division of Labor.

That is, the Division of Labor at quarterback. The starter is known, obviously, but how many

reps does Aaron Rogers receive? A new quarterback to the Steelers, but also a 41-year-old

new quarterback. How many can rookie Will Howard snag instead? What about running back with

rookie Caleb Johnson? What's the split between him and Jalen Warren, and how does Kenneth

Gainwell fit into everything else? The wide receiver two battle still exists between Calvin Austin

the third and Roman Wilson, even if Austin enters with the upper hand. The three tight ends in

Pat Raramuth, Darnell Washington, and John Hussmith are of course cemented on the roster, but how

were they worked into the offense? Behind the starters, the defensive line is a jumbled up free-for-all.

There should be great camp battles there.

At cornerback, the rotation of Darius Slay, Joey Porter Jr., and Jalen Ramsey is one to note.

Who comes off the field, how do all three stay on?

Lots of questions to examine and begin answering starting tomorrow. There are plenty of

headlines, both big and small, but that division of labor is what I have my eye on most. Be sure to
