I love the Pittsburgh Steelers passing on the quarterback to take Iowa running back Caleb Johnson in the third round of the 2025 NFL draft. I know it's not necessarily

an unpopular opinion, but even with Chedars Sanders, Jalen Millerow and other talented

quarterbacks on the

board, I think Johnson was the right pick and he can be a really good player for the Steelers.

For one, there aren't a lot of teams left that are still likely to take a quarterback and entering

day three, Sanders, Will Howard, and Kyle McCord are also on the board and as is Quinn yours.

Steelers will be able to get a

court that they've been linked to and met with at some point in the pre-draft process and they

didn't feel the need to grab their guy early and pass on a really talented running back.

That's one part of why I like it. The other is that I think Johnson can be an absolute stud

in Pittsburgh. I thought he'd be gone by the middle of the second round, to be completely honest.
